This weeks event was a 5k run put on by the LAX Coastal Education Foundation and all of the proceeds went to benefiting the local schools which was an added bonus. Being that this was a running event the start was pretty early so we had to be there a few hours before it started which meant we didn't sleep much the night before. Luckily we were rewarded with a corner spot right next to the check in table. There was always a chance of rain but that didn't stop anyone from coming out and our specially made soccer balls can get wet so we were all good. We were giving away prizes all day to kids who could make a hole in 1 from 20' away and I'm pretty sure every kid there made it. Which we were not ready for but next time we'll be better prepared. Everyone loved the game and there were two day camps that had vendor spots on the other side from us. Both of them were very interested in the game and ended up purchasing multiple sets for their camps. You can check out Iverbe Day & Sports Camp and Champ Camp for more info on their programs. At the end of the day we got a lot of good exposure, learned a few things and sold some sets so we'll definitely be back next year.
